Alana McNair is a filmmaker, writer, musician, and performer based in Brooklyn, NY. Her film projects include the series pilot In the Bog, the short film Existential Crisis, and the short film Imminent Danger!, which screened at many festivals including the Broad Humor Film Festival, Etheria Film Festival, and Dragon*Con Film Festival, where it was a finalist for Best Comedy Short. Her work as a playwright and performer has been produced in New York and other cities around the country, including the plays Fatal Attraction: A Greek Tragedy, Power Burn 3, Settlement, and Just Piddlin': a dirt road operetta. She is also a founding member of the pop rock band, Ladystein. She is currently in development for her first feature length film. Alana holds a BFA in Acting from NYU's Tisch School of the Arts and an MFA in Film from FSU's College of Motion Picture Arts. She has taught film production in the Department of Visual and Sound Media at Seton Hall University and at Mason Gross School of the Arts at Rutgers University. She works as a freelance video editor in New York for both independent projects and corporate brands including Condé Nast and CBS Sports Network.
